LG Distribution UltraThe Fine 5K monitors will begin shipping on March 8th after a problem with their poor shielding was fixed. Users began complaining about problems with the monitors shortly after they went on sale. The most common problems included lack of compatibility, monitor flickering, and especially problems with functioning near Wi-Fi routers.

At a distance of about two meters from the Wi-Fi routers, the monitors from LG showed problems with functionality, which were manifested by spontaneous disconnection or complete collapse of the connected computer. Apple introduced the new monitors in October last year along with MacBooky pro with Thunderbolt 3. LG began shipping the high-resolution displays in late 2016. After several tech news outlets reported user complaints, LG confirmed that the monitors had issues with insufficient shielding. It promised to fix the issue in future hardware releases.
Customers who have already purchased an LG monitor can contact LG Support for troubleshooting options. Apple removed all LGs from its inventory UltraFine 5K displays, both online and in retail stores. Delivery time has moved from the promised 2-3 days to 5-6 weeks.
LG price UltraFine 5K displays are now 27 CZK. The price offer is limited and valid only until March 749st.
