Return The legendary Nokia 3310 was watched last week on Sunday by almost all mobile phone fans. Originally a Finnish company, which currently belongs to the Chinese giant HMD Global, after seventeen years again, and for a symbolic amount, offered basically the most beloved phone in history. However, nothing is as rosy as it first appears, and the Nokia 3310 (2017) is no exception. The novelty will not work at all in some countries, that is, at least as far as calls and sending SMS are concerned.

Although most of the components have been replaced, the device still communicates on old networks that also use the old frequencies of 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. These were used for 2G communications such as calling and sending text messages even before the advent of mobile internet. But the mentioned frequencies are already starting to be abandoned and in some countries of the world they are already turned off completely. For example, in the United States or Canada, you will not be able to make a call from the new Nokia 3310.

Although the company has not announced that it will sell the reborn legend in the US or Canada, the phone can still complicate the life of its owner. Its low price and great battery life make it an ideal secondary phone. But it will not be suitable for traveling, because after arriving in the United States or its neighbors, the user can play Snake on it, but the network will not work.

There should be no problem in the Czech Republic. According to gsmweb.cz all domestic operators support both the 900 Mhz and 1800 Mhz frequencies. However, the future is uncertain. The mentioned frequencies are gradually being withdrawn all over the world, so it is a matter of time before the trend reaches us.
