Nowadays, every camera supports shooting in HDR mode, in which several pictures are taken with different exposures, from which the resulting photo is then "composed". This method of taking pictures has not escaped even iPhones, which take three pictures in HDR mode. However, in the basic settings, the resulting photo is saved to the device twice. Once with enhancement and once without. This then causes the photos to theoretically take up twice as much space as they should.
