The world's top hacking, decentralized economics, and crypto-anarchy experts will gather at the Parallel Polis in Holešovice, Prague, on September 30th for a three-day congress, the main topic of which will be bitcoin. What alternatives to the existing system does it bring and what problems can it solve? The packed program , which is available from today, will answer not only these questions.
Among the almost fifty mostly foreign speakers, according to organizer Martin Šíp, Andreas Antonopoulos is the most anticipated personality : "He is a great speaker, visionary and popularizer of bitcoin and decentralization. The content of his Saturday lecture Thoughts on the Future of Money will be a surprise to everyone, because he creates the content a few hours before the performance based on current inspiration," Šíp introduces him.
Sunday's talk by bitcoin traveler Felix Weis will also be lighthearted and very practical . "Felix spent 18 months traveling around the world with only one currency, bitcoin," invites Martin Šíp to his lecture, adding that Felix survived the journey, enjoyed it, and proved that bitcoin is not just a game for computer enthusiasts.
"Personally, I am also very much looking forward to the legend Timothy C. May . It was he who created the Crypto-Anarchy Manifesto thirty years ago. It will be a special moment because, as far as I know, he has not spoken at any conference since the creation of Bitcoin and has never commented on it," Šíp selects the third highlight of this year's congress. Timothy's lecture entitled Thirty Years of Crypto-Anarchy will summarize the thirty-year history of the development of tools of freedom on the Internet and will end with a hopeful outlook for the future.
In addition to lectures, debates and workshops, visitors can also look forward to an accompanying program. ProFor example, the world premiere of the so-called Swarming Dr.ones Show. Drones will also have their own presentation on Saturday between eight and nine o'clock in the evening. The program also includes a 3D printed fashion show Fashiotn.stl, which will take place on October 1 at La Fabrice. The final pearl is the world premiere of the hacker film Down the Deep Dark Web on Saturday from six o'clock, accompanied by a panel discussion.
