Reddit launches its first official app for iPhone

The long-awaited official app for browsing one of the most visited sites on the internet is here! The new Reddit app is available since yesterday in AppStore. It will replace the current main 3rd party application "Alien Blue", which has served as the main website client until now. At this point, however, it is disappearing from the offer and only the new and official one will be available varianta. You can watch a video introducing the new application in the article. You can download the highly rated application here.

The original goal of the development team was to rework the original Alien Blue application, but it soon became clear that even simply reworking it to a satisfactory state would be unreasonably demanding. ProSo they decided to create a completely new application from the ground up that would be significantly faster, more modern, and more stable than if it were just a rewrite. With the new and improved code, it will be much easier for developers to add new functionality at a faster pace. The developers plan miniat least one major update per month. The production of a new mobile application has been planned for a long time. According to the website statistics, mobile users account for up to 50% of total visits. In addition, the current mobile version of the website is terrible in terms of user-friendliness, so the new application will be a blessing for all mobile users. The new mobile application offers many of the main features that we know from the full website and also offers many improvements that other third-party applications do not have. The application is available for download for free, at this link.
