Elon Musk and his Tesla is known for its top-notch electric cars, which are also recently learned the autopilot function, are also characterized by their relatively high price. For example, such a top Model S will cost you 3,3 million crowns. However, Musk has now set his sights on mass-market electric cars, which he intends to achieve with his new and more affordable Tesla Model 3, which will soon hit the roads.
A few hours ago, Tesla's CEO announced that he will present his pioneering model on March 31, and the price is set at $35, which translates to approximately CZK 000. This is not the lowest amount, but it is a decent price for an electric car from Tesla. The good news is that the price could be even lower in the future, as Tesla plans to start mass production of batteries, which are the most expensive part of electric cars ever, at its future Gigafactory in Nevada.
It will be possible to reserve the Model 3 on the already mentioned March 31 in Tesla stores, but you won't find them here or in Slovakia. A day later, online pre-orders will be launched, with which interested parties from the Czech Republic and Slovakia can also succeed. The interesting thing is that the shape of the Model 3 is not yet known, because Tesla is trying to keep it secret until that last day in March. The photo below was supposed to show a Tesla Model 3 under a tarp, but it is possible that it is also one of the first designs of the Model X.

Just for interest: in the USA, the BMW i3, which is sold here for 936 CZK, costs the same amount. So this is likely to be the price here, which makes it a big competition for BMW (I expect the Tesla 000 to be better).
