Minecraft is a game of almost unlimited possibilities, and while some play it to survive in the cube wilderness, others prefer to go crazy in the Creative mode, where you can build your own big cities or various unique structures. Well, if you like it nestachilo, then there is the option to download, for example, Tekkit or a modified Minecraft. This option was chosen by the American operator Verizon, which, in cooperation with Wieden+Kennedy and Blockworks, created something that you have not even thought about until now, if only because it would take you a very long time to build and it would require great skills with redstone. Verizon has developed a real smartphone that you can use directly in the game and will allow you to make video calls, use the Internet browser and, finally, respond to SMS messages. That it works was confirmed by several American YouTubers who called and demonstrated a functional video call with a character in Minecraft.
At the same time, Verizon developed a special Boxel interface in cooperation with developers. This interface ensures that any web content and image you want to load is pre-rendered into Minecraft in real-time using the available blocks. Unfortunately, this is something that requires coding, and unless you're a programmer or simply don't want to read all the necessary documentation and work in Terminali, then you can at least watch the videos posted by YouTubers CaptainSparklez and SethBling. The installation files themselves, as well as instructions for installing the interface, can be downloaded from the Github server, where they are available in the links boxel a Boxel-Client. In case you are tech savvy or a programmer and managed to load a page in Minecraft LsA, we would be happy if you could share this experience with us.
It's a paradise with practically zero usage.
A quote from the movie Beds came to mind:
"That must have been an awful lot of work… What a fool, huh?"
:-)
Dodo: exactly :)
