EA has a habit of removing older titles that are no longer popular to make room for new ones. While on computers and consoles it is solved by turning off multiplayer servers, mobile games usually do not have such an option, and therefore the company removed the applications themselves from its store. She removed a total of 17 titles, including some very popular names. More specifically, the removed titles include Mass Effect Infiltrator, Dead Space, EA Sports MMA, Skate It and Real Racing, among others.
These are mainly old titles and, among other things, Burnout CRASH!, which was first released on the Xbox 360 and only then received a mobile version that played quite well on the iPad, "happened". EA justified its decision by saying that technical support for these games has already ended, updates will not be released, and EA will rather focus on new and more interesting titles, as well as updating today's popular games, which will be supplemented with new content. This of course includes games like The Simpsons Tapped Out or Real Racing 3, which work on the free-2-play model, are among the favorites. People who have purchased any of the games in the list below have the option to re-download them from their purchased list and play them. The removal of the games happened quietly on September 1st, which is why people only noticed their absence today.
