Some Android watches Wear they are very nice and, for example, I would personally choose the Huawei Watch much more than the Apple Watch. However, one thing prevented me from doing so, and that was the fact that it was an Android watch Wear or compatible with the system iOS, so in case of huge interest, I would have to exchange mine iPhone for some Android. But I don't have to anymore because Google just announced that they are releasing official Android Wear application for iPhone, thanks to which we will also be able to use watches such as Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane or Moto 360 as an alternative to Apple Watch, as long as we prefer a round dial for watches.
Google announced that the app is coming out today and like Apple Watch, also Android watches Wear they will require minialmost iPhone 5 with system iOS 8.2 or later. Moreover, it will not only be about the notifications themselves, even if that is one of the most important functions. The watch has an always-on display, but despite this, it lasts for 24 hours and some even a little more. Users will receive information about calls, messages and also notifications from the applications they use most often on their wrists.
They also have a function well-timed tips, where Google Now shows you exactly the information you need right now, for example that it's time to leave for work, or they warn you about traffic problems, or show you how your next flight is going. Google Now is also a possible voice controller, and you can both enter tasks and find out information almost like pri Siri. And finally, they will support fitness activity, so Android watches Wear they will also serve as a fitness tracker. Not only do they track your walking and running, but also your daily and weekly goals and your heart rate.
At the beginning it will be iPhone compatible only with LG Watch Urbane, but later compatibility will be added for ASUS ZenWatch, Motorola Moto 360 and also for Huawei, which are not yet released.
Well, it's worth considering, especially the LG Urbane ones for half what they are Apple Watch..
what about the LG G Watch R???? :( those won't be compatible?
LG G probably not either, and probably not the first generation Moto 360 either, until the second one, which will be presented at IFA.
