A few months ago, Adobe removed the z App Store one of my favorite applications, Photoshop Touch. The tool was characterized above all by the possibility of retouching, which was a great advantage, but the program had one fundamental drawback - it was difficult for Adobe to develop an application that would handle the popular functions of Photoshop and offer them on one screen. However, Adobe learned from this mistake and therefore decided to divide the functions into separate applications, where each can be fully dedicated to one specific function. This is how the separate Photoshop Mix, Shape CC, Color CC, Brush CC and Comp CC applications were born, and soon they will be joined by an application that is for now called Project Rigel.
It will be a tool that will use the possibility of retouching photos on maximum, čo zrejme ocenia viacerí užívatelia vzhľadom k tomu, že klasická aplikácia Fotky neponúka možnosť retušovania priamo na obrazovke iPhonu, ale len na Macu. Pritom retušovanie na cestách by sa zišlo a Project Rigel to má čoskoro umožniť. Samotná aplikácia bude opäť freemium a bude používať predplatné Creative Cloud, which is the difference compared to the original Photoshop Touch application, which users could purchase as a one-time purchase worth around €10. But it will not require a subscription to use photos from Dropbox, Facebookat or from the photo gallery. Released in October/October pre iPhone also iPad.
At the same time, Project Rigel will be understandable and will use common words instead of those used by professional photographers - for example, instead of the functions "Dodge" and "Burn" there will be names "Lighten" and "Darken", that is, lighten and darken. The application will also support cropping, adjusting, retouching, smoothing, coloring, drawing and also vignette. Likewise, the Liquify menu will be added, in which a face recognition tool will be available and will allow you to edit individual elements on the face - such as eyes, nose or mouth. This function will later be added to Photoshop on PC.
