A few years ago, Rovio was a company we looked up to with admiration. From a small studio making mobile games to a multi-million dollar company thanks to a single game, it's a demonstration of how far some can go with just help App Store. But nothing lasts forever, and interest in Angry Birds began to decline, partly because Rovio made a huge boom around the first game and built a quadrillion spin-offs on top of it that were practically the same. This year, the situation reached a stage where it had to lay off 260 employeesancov so that it can continue to function. Currently, it employs only 430 employeesancov, while at the end of 2013 it still had 800.

He is currently asking them what is responsible for the problems in Rovio. Angry Birds 2, which was released only a few days ago, received 50 million downloads in one month and thus became one of the big hits again, at least according to the statistics. It looks like the free-2-play model isn't working as well as Rovio expected, and even though people have downloaded the game, apparently few are buying the expansions. It's also interesting that Angry Birds 2 stayed on top for only a few weeks, while titles like Clash of Clans or Candy Crush Saga stay on top for months. Rovio, which originally had one kancelarium in Finland and later opened other studios in other countries (USA, Japan and others), but it has a problem with paying its employeesancov and Angry Birds 2 is one of the games that is not doing very well. Finally, Finns can hope that the Angry Birds movie will be a success. But it's quite questionable, considering that the main guy is already gone.
