Someone longs to own the latest Apple device so much that he is willing to steal almost anything. This sentence would fit the most recent case, when a teenager visiting the historic city of Pompeii decided to steal a priceless artifact that survived a volcanic eruption that covered the entire city with ash, including the sleeping residents.

Some buildings and objects survived the devastating explosion and are priceless artifacts that are almost 2000 years old. The young man decided to take a single bag from the roof of one partially undamaged house and then sell it on eBay. Unfortunately, another American tourist saw him in the act, who reported the incident to the local guards, who searched the young man's backpack, where they found the bag. The teenager, originally from the Netherlands, was handed over to the police, where he stated during questioning that he intended to sell the bag on eBay and use the money to buy the latest iPhone, which was probably meant by the soon-to-be-introduced iPhone 6s.

However, while it is a priceless and historical artifact from one perspective, its selling price is very low, as it is just a simple roof tile. The fact that it comes from Pompeii only adds to its value, but even so, the young man would not have received more than $600 for it, which would have given him nesteven buying the cheapest one iPhone 6.
