Today, it is unthinkable that someone would bring out a large camera with a resolution lower than HD or Full HD. But 20 or 30 years ago, no one knew such terms, and at that time the master was the one who took a roughly 40 cm large black box with him and recorded the image on a cassette. You can imagine that yours would also record like that iPhone with all those things disadvantages like grainy image or weaker colors? That's exactly what you can do with your iPhone thanks to an app called VHS Camcorder that can remind you of what it was like to record 20 years ago. And maybe it will be an interesting experience, just imagine that you need it for a video clip or for a video you are working on and you want to use only iPhone.
The application also brings one important thing that will advance your filmmaking career - you can set the date when the video was recorded. Or when it wanted to be recorded to make it look authentic. In the settings, you also have the option to choose whether you want to shoot a black-and-white or color video, and you can also set that if your hand shakes, it will also affect the resulting quality. You can also reduce the image quality by moving your finger across the screen. There is also a zoom and a lower sound quality, because here you will hear the sounds typical of VHS. The app has an otherwise simple interface that anyone who has experienced the era of big video cameras will recognize. In addition, you can choose video smoothness (6, 24, 25, 30fps) and you also have something you could only dream of 20-30 years ago - sharing on social networks.
The author is asking for €4 for his creation, but I think it's quite a nice price considering how much work went into the realization of this truly original idea.
