When I first saw MOTA, the smart ring, I thought it was so stupid that no one could possibly sell it. It was introduced then as a crowdfunding idea. Smart rings are apparently the smallest possible wearable electronics. There were a few such ideas, this is not a premiere for MOTA, as an example I can cite the Smarty Ring. It's hard to say who MOTA is targeting because I don't know many men who wear rings outside of weddings. When you add to that the fact that the ring is able to light up and display notifications, it must cause quite a stir among the public. Let's see what the MOTA smart ring concept looks like.
What do you imagine a smart ring should be able to do? The developers promise that thanks to it you will never miss a notification from your phone again. It can inform you about incoming calls, SMS messages, emails, notifications from Facebooku, Twitter and others. When you receive such a notification, the ring will vibrate. Notification settings will probably be able to be adjusted in the official application.
- You can reorder the MOTA smart ring right here for a whopping $200
For God's sake, have you already taken over the terrible word PORTABILITY??
According to the photos in the article, I didn't want to believe that the ring was vibrating. Then I looked at the manufacturer's website, where there are a little more realistic renders and the ring is a "little" different shape.
