Final Fantasy VII is the most popular part of the legendary JRPG series, and it was here that players demanded that Square Enix release its remake. Square listened to these requests and not only announced the release of the original version of FF7 on iPhone and iPad, but also after 20 years showed what the word Remake means. It presented not just a remaster, but a completely new game that matches the old one in terms of story and main characters. Anyway, we will see more of the original PC game on phones.

At the moment, it is questionable whether this is a classic port or whether we will see a new engine here. Apparently, the company does not want to use the Luminous engine, but in App Store it is written that it is a direct port of Final Fantasy VII from PC. The game also received a few improvements designed specifically for iPhone and iPads. They can choose to use either a virtual analog or a 4-way D-pad. Game also on iPhone offers the option to turn off the encounter with enemies in the game world (except those that are important to the story). It is also currently a question whether the game supports game controllers or not, since Apple doesn't present this option well enough and Square doesn't even mention it in the game description. The game is also extremely bulky - the pre version iOS namely, it requires up to 4GB of free space and powerful hardware with Retina display. In this case, it is recommended to use iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2 or iPad 3rd generation. The game may crash on weaker hardware. The game itself is currently only available in New Zealand, where it is sold for 20 local dollars.
