While at Apple Watch still waiting for some official numbers, u Apple Music we already have them, as Eddy Cue said almost two weeks ago that the service had 11 million subscribers. But as we know, the number of subscribers does not necessarily mean the number of active users, and according to a new survey, it seems that the service is not that interesting for people. The agency's latest survey MusicWatch found that up to 48% of listeners stopped using the service, even now, when the service is available completely free of charge.
However, the survey also revealed other not very flattering facts. In total, up to 61% of people say that they have turned off the option of automatic subscription to the service, so that after the end of the free trial version they will not be charged for the next month of using the service. On the other hand, it is possible that some users will eventually renew the service. Ultimately, the sample for the survey results was 5 users living in the US over the age of 000. The company believes that the weaker interest in the service is due to the fact that Apple it was not the first to come to this market and that it has already entered a market where proven and popular services such as Spotify already exist.
It is also interesting that from the number of users Apple Music only 30% listen to Beats 1 and only 27% use iTunes Music Connect, a social network that builds on the failed Ping system, which (didn't) work for two years until Apple turn off But here it can be seen that the Connect service is more popular and will not end up in the abyss of history. But so that we o Apple Music they didn't just speak in a negative way, the survey shows that up to 28% of Spotify's paying users switched to Apple Music.

I still haven't figured out what it can be good for - when I have my BEAT radio :-)
Half of the users of what? 11 million is not half of the users. iOS a Apple Music...
Never again, it hurt me like that in the library.
It changed a bunch of record pictures to Greatest Hits etc.
m4a. songs it changed for me for 256Kb/s and when streaming it is iPhone like a radiator.
Tried, canceled.
When I saw the statistics of the music played by Beats 1 here a few days ago, I was quite amused at how hard I listen to minority music.
Who would have thought that one radio would fit all?
painkillers:
Well, when someone steals, downloads from YouTube, etc., then it can't be surprising that thanks to dubious tags, they sort his music in this way.
I don't have any problems in the library (nor do any of the people who use MUSIC), it's true that I have a lot of music purchased, and even if I don't, it's always stretched albums from iTunes Store… that is, as I wrote, an identical library from before MUSIC, just 3 albums got the current cover, all perfect from iTunes Store, veľkosť mojej knižnice v Macu sa vďaka tejto službe zmenšila na neuveriteľný 1GB hudby z pôvodných asi 25 GB, toľko miesta na rýchlom SSD sa zíde :)
And what's the problem with 256kbps? It's iTunes Store you could say studio quality, lossless, there is nothing better in iTunes.
Majda:
"downloads from youtube etc"
What about the person who buys the record, carefully transferring everything to iPhone and still him music they upload a different image for most songs.
If I downloaded from YouTube and added the "shit" to iTunes, I probably wouldn't be writing here.
"you could say lossless quality"
It just couldn't. Buy proper headphones, or find out what kind of hearing you have...
painkillers:
I would be interested to know what kind of sound box you have, that you can safely tell the difference between FLAC and m4a.
