Password manager LastPass, which is a fairly suitable replacement for, for example 1Password, announced today that new users who download the app and want to use the services can sign up for the program for free and don't have to pay for LastPass Premium or Enterprise. Those users who started using LastPass services on Android, Windows Phone or iOS They will also be able to use the service completely free of charge and their passwords will even be synchronized to other devices.
From now on, it is possible to use LastPass even without having to pay for it, while your passwords will be synchronized between devices. Even so, there is a limitation in the form that if you start using the service on a computer, for example, you will only be able to synchronize your passwords with one other computer. It is the same with smartphones or tablets. Users who want to use all LastPass services, including synchronization across all devices regardless of platform or type, will need to subscribe to LastPass Premium for $12 per year.
LastPass was at the beginning of the year also introduced for Mac and until then there was only a web version for Apple desktop users to manage their passwords on their Mac. But now you can download the OS X application and try it in its 14-day trial version completely free of charge. LastPass also has the advantage that it basically doesn't matter what browser you use on your Mac, as you just need to download the extension and all your passwords will be saved and synchronized with another device and, in the case of LastPass Premium, even with several devices.
