When you're the best country in the universe, you have to show it off, and that's why engineers from North Korea came up with a unique idea to develop their own OS to get rid of the dominance of systems from the nasty, capitalist West. North Korea thus developed its own operating system, Red Star OS, and since Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un uses an iMac and presumably manages North Korea's nuclear program on it, it was decided that the rest of the population should also have a system that at least resembled the one on the Mac .
