Plex, a popular media service that offers apps for almost all platforms, updated its version for iOS and added several major innovations and made it available in App Store completely free. With the latest update, Plex pro has gained iOS detailed viewing of movies, where you get recommendations or you can choose not tochat play other movies by the same director or actor.
You can now add and display ratings or reviews of your added movies in Plex, play images by their chapters, allowing you to quickly jump to a selected scene. Plex has also recently started using Sync v2 technology, which will significantly increase the speed and stability of synchronization.
The app is now free from the original $4,99. With the free version, Plex can be used as a remote control, for example, for your Mac, PC with Windows or Linux, where you play a movie on Plex and iPhoneYou can control playback remotely with your iPhone or iPad. The free version also allows you to access your photo and video folder, so you can stream them to another device. The paid version is available for €4,99.

..so that's strange, it was free, but after the purchase it deducted 134,99 from meCZK the bank is reporting to me.. I actually just wanted to try it out, don't I need it at all?
Cukero: I personally downloaded it for the first time today as well and it didn't read anything. If you received an email about purchasing the app, be sure to request a refund.

Plex is pretty good, you just need to have the subtitles in the right encoding. If a person has hundreds of episodes of series with "bad" subtitles, it's quite a stretch

Does anyone know why I can't stream movies from Plex to my iPad? iPhone.
It says,,Playback error - streaming of this media is not supported,,.
It worked for me before, photos etc. work.Application on TV too. Works from PC too..
Note: I go to the web interface on the iPad, the application only offers part of the video, then it wants to be charged.
