Force Touch technology has already made its way into watches and even into MacBookov and apparently we will see her in the next one as well iPhone. Both models should even have it, that is iPhone 6s and up iPhone 6s Plus, both of which used Force Touch we don't know. Until now, since the resources for 9to5mac revealed something about the technology that defines the future of the iPhone as it defined it Touch ID. Version for iOS is currently known as the Orb and has a completely different purpose than na Apple Watch.
While at Apple Watch serves as an option to display additional functions that did not fit on the basic screen, on iPhone the usage will be completely different. Instead of bringing up new features, a stronger squeeze here will speed up your mobile work, and a stronger squeeze can save you from having to rummage through the menu. Shortcuts for several applications are already in development. For example, in an application Maps this will allow you to immediately start GPS navigation to the point of interest. So two steps will be skipped.
In the application Music instead, after pressing a song harder, it will be added to the playlist or saved to the device for offline listening. Force Touch will therefore allow you to work faster with the two most used functions offered by the new application Apple Music. Finally, Apple is experimenting with the possibility of speeding up access to some functions in applications. For example, after pressing the Phone application, the voicemail will be immediately called up, or after pressing the News icon, the Favorites or For You section will immediately start.
Finally, we will also meet some gestures from MacBookat. These will include the ability to preview a website in Safari and you'll also be able to call up a dictionary that you may very well know from OS X - when you press a word, its definition will appear. After roughly pressing an address or contact, either the address will be displayed on the map or a card with the contact will be displayed.
Another exclusive feature iPhone The 6s had 4K video recording. Some competing phones already offer this option, but these are clips that take up a lot of space, and therefore it is possible that the function will not even appear on the phone in the end. Apple was toying with the idea at the beginning of the year, but the company is toying with many ideas like this that will not see the light of day or will see it later. But what we can clearly expect is the presence of a faster A9 processor in combination with 2GB of RAM, a faster LTE antenna and a reduced number of chips, which will also be reflected in improved battery life. Finally, the surprise is that Force Touch will also be able to be used by developers in third-party applications, and the technology will also reach the iPad Pro (J98 and J99), where the function will work with the stylus.
There has been no talk of improving the rear camera and facetime camera to the level of today's rear camera. Something like this was found in the first beta ;)
I was hoping that Force Touch would have a different use, a bit of a shame…
