Repetition is the mother of wisdom, so despite the fact that we have already written an article about how to take care of your products in extreme heat, at the moment, when we have two more weeks to go, during which the thermometers attack the temperature of 40 degrees, it is definitely worth it update and fetch again.

Right at the beginning, we have to tell you one unpleasant piece of information, according to AppThe operating temperature of all iPhones, iPads and iPods is 0° C to 35° C, and even if the phones work in higher or lower temperatures, you basically have nothing to complain about if the device stops working at such a temperature. Currently, temperatures are approaching 40° C and in a car they easily exceed 45° C, which is maxThe minimum temperature at which the phone can be stored with the power off. So if you currently see the familiar warning that the phone cannot be used due to high temperature, this is not unusual and the device is protecting itself to prevent physical damage.

So you don't have to worry about the phone being damaged by high temperature, if a similar warning already appears, turn off the phone and use it when you are in a cooler place. However, this does not mean that you should put it in, for example, a refrigerator or a freezer, in these places there is usually extreme moisture, which a hot phone absorbs and there is a risk of damaging it. In short, leave it off for a few minutes, put it in a cool place (shade is usually enough) and then start using it again.

Do not use junk and leather packaging!
If you want to protect your phone from overheating itself, a simple rule applies, anything that increases the drain on the battery also increases the temperature of the phone. Therefore, if you are in really high temperatures, it is advisable not to use functions such as GPS, mobile internet or, for example, play demanding games, with the fact that the most demanding games and applications are usually those in which we find advertising banners that use up the phone's processor more than the application itself. It is also worth turning off all applications that you are not actively using in multi-tasking.

Also try to avoid using cases that increase the heating of your phone, player or tablet. For example, if you are using a leather case, you know that it will not help the temperature of your iPad much at the moment. At least not when you are using your phone.onem or other device, take it out of all packaging and let air circulate freely. On the other hand, if you have a waterproof case, then there is nothing easier than throwing the phone into cold water, of course in the case.

The display - the place you can really damage!
So, as you already know, physical damage to the phone as a result of overheating will not occur, at least not if the temperature does not exceed the true extremes of over fifty degrees. Where, on the other hand, it is for all tablets, phones or players of the company Apple and also any other problem and there is a real risk of hardware damage is in the display area. If you let the sun shine on the display all day, yellowing of the display may occur. You can try to complain about this and it is very real that your complaint will be accepted, but if it is not, there is not much you can do about it. In short, the display may turn yellow in some places when exposed to direct sunlight in the current temperatures. So be careful where you use the phone and try to avoid leaving the display in direct sunlight for a long time. For example, if you are in the garden, always place the phone with the screen facing down and do not expose it to unnecessary direct sunlight. For a phone, tablet or player, just like for other electronics, simple rules apply in the case of a car, i.e. the same as for a dog or a child. Never leave it in a car where the temperature can reach 70 degrees Celsius within twenty minutes. Always turn the display downwards. Also try to keep the devices separate so that the heat can escape and circulate around them. It's not ideal when you put two phones and a tablet as a bonus in one compartment in your bag or car. Better separate them!

How to charge correctly?
If you charge your device, try to do it in the coolest possible room. If you don't have air conditioning, it's ideal to charge it in a toilet or bathroom, where it's cooler than the rest of the house. Try not to use a 12W power supply during extreme heat, but rather use a 5W power supply. Tablet or smartphoneone This way, you will charge for a few minutes longer, but it will be safer and you will not overheat it unnecessarily.
