In response to the growth of a biography about Steve Jobs, the Santa Fe Opera has decided to announce today that it will perform a new opera focusing on the life of the late company executive AppleThe title is conceived in a relatively unique way: The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs a za jejím vznikem stojí Masona Batese a libretista Mark Campbell. Podle serveru LATimes je debut opery naplánován až na rok 2017.
Santa Fe Opera has indicated that The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs will focus primarily on the professional and personal life of Steve Jobs, but also on Steve's wife and father, whom we have not been able to record in any live work so far. The opera will of course also focus on Jobs' relationship as a father to his daughter, whom he initially disowned.
First work on The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs will start in a month in September in San Franciscu with support from UC Berkeley and the local music conservatory. Directed by Michael Christie.
