Apple came up with a ton of new products over the past year, and one of them is Apple Pay. The payment system is currently only available in two countries, but even here the system is not performing as expected. It was expected that the number of users Apple Pay will grow, but the opposite is happening - during the past three months, there has been a decrease in the number of users who want to try paying with iPhones, and the number of payments made with the help of iPhones has also decreased, not only among those who used the system from time to time, but also in those who used it regularly.
This was discovered by InfoScout in cooperation with the PYMNTS.com server, where they found that the number of users who have the opportunity to try Apple Pay, fell 2 percent over the three months, from 15,1% in March/March to 13,1% in June/June. Likewise, the number of respondents who answered "Yes" to the question decreased "You used for this transaction Apple Pay? " from 39,3% to only 23%. The decline is indeed remarkable considering that iPhone 6 breaks records and Apple Pay is one of the main attractions for its purchase. But users are concerned about security, which is why the number of people refusing to use the payment system has increased since Applu. Their number grew from 15% to 19%. However, among them there are also people who no longer want to use the service because they are worried that the service may not work. The bonus is that the number of people who don't know how to use it has increased Apple Pay. Today, 34% of people do not control it, while in March/March it was 31%. The gratifying news is at least that Apple Pay is still among the most popular contactless systems.
