Roaming prices within the countries of the European Union have been falling for several years. Year after year, the fees for incoming and outgoing calls, SMS or data are getting lower and lower, until they are often equal to the prices that can be met with pre-paid ones. However, the European Union wants to abolish roaming completely, which will ultimately mean that if you have, for example, a data package of 5GB of data in the Czech Republic, it will also apply to you in any other European Union country. Operators from many countries will thus lose quite significant earnings, and it is not entirely clear how they will deal with this fact.
The less encouraging news is that the European Union only wants to do so on June 15, 2017, so we have to wait almost two years. On the other hand, it is encouraging that prices will continue to fall until then, when roaming is no longer legal.onec will be abolished completely. For now, the EU has set maxThe minimum limit is €0.19/min for calls, €0.06 for SMS and €0.20/MB of data, which is still quite a lot, as data adds up incredibly quickly and the bill can climb to astronomical amounts.
The proposal still needs to be approved by the member countries, but it is assumed that there will be no problem with the proposal and it will pass smoothly. So in the summer of 2017, we can happily go on holidays and vacations and not worry about roaming at all.

I don't know if it won't be such a problem - because the first approval didn't pass and this term, which is mentioned in the article, was proposed.

The question is whether there will still be a union in two years (given the development of the situation with Greece, immigration and others) :)))
thanks to IS, the EU will not be here by then, the EU will either disappear or be led by someone who has the balls against IS and possibly Russia
