Journalists who traveled directly to the foreign presentation of the news Galaxy S6 to Galaxy S6 Edge had the opportunity to test both devices firsthand. Phonearena.com was of course on site and its reporters managed to take a series of comparison photos in which you can see the comparison iPhone 6 to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, that is, the best that a series Samsung Galaxy currently offers and will continue to offer during this year.
Since it was only possible to test in rooms where the very possibility of trying on the phones was taking place, the test was quite difficult and it was not possible to test photos in different circumstances such as weather, time of day and so on. Nevertheless, due to the fact that these are the first such tests, it is worthwhile to see how the photos from both phones look. Personally, I don't want to defend the iPhone too much, but its photo seems to me to be many times more credible than in the case of Galaxy S6.
He doesn't take bad photos, of course, but his photos have an orange tint and overall it seems to me that the colors don't match reality. Below you will find just a few photos, but you can find the entire gallery where he also takes pictures with older Samsung phone models right here.

Again, I would say that the iPhone photo has a gray cast. It is not possible to compare photos without a reference white.
I am interested in exterior photos.
it already has twice the megapixels, the Samsung has better details when zoomed in and has a warmer feel, but it's a question of who wants and what they set, and nothing that can't be solved in post-photo editing
the quality of the photos themselves, the Samsung will probably be better indoors, we'll see how it usually wins outdoors iphone so we'll see, apple always had a bit of a problem with noise and was always afraid of quality even with more megapixels (more megapixels, more noise) Samsung adjusted the smoothing and brightness so that even with higher megapixels the noise seems to be low (which hasn't happened so far) ... maybe it will work on this as well apple to be able to raise the megapixels to at least 10-12))
is the fact that the only thing that bothers me is so apple he has beautiful photos, but one must not start enlarging and cropping them
at first glance, with the same size, otherwise the quality of both phones is good and almost identical
but it should be noted that iphone It's already half a year old, Samsung introduced its top of the line model, so if it wasn't at least as good at this, something would be wrong somewhere.
It's hard for me to compare as an amateur, but the Samsung photos look like they were taken straight with "enh"ance" feature that can be used on the iPhone after taking a photo.
Appsman: so you can take a photo with a Nokia for 30 euros - you can edit it later :)
On the topic: I also like the touch of color there - as mentioned above, it looks like it was photographed with an Instagram filter...
Those photos from iphone they look a lot better than those from the "amazingly perfect" Samsung, even with a smaller number of megapixels. But some people still don't understand that
S6 definitely better photos than iPhone

About enough limes? WTF is wrong with you guys…100% zoom, especially in full-size display on the screens of your 5K iMacs, everyone must recognize the difference
The S6 leads in terms of sharpness. Try to read the inscriptions on the camera in the first photo from the iP6 ;)
iPhone It certainly evaluates the color better under artificial lighting. It can be seen that Apple approaches photography differently. Of course, when 100% Zooming in shows more detail on the Samsung, which is obvious with double the MPx, but otherwise it's easy to get a decent photo. iPhone. Samsung needs color correction. And we don't know anything about the focusing speed, especially in such poor lighting conditions.
The iPhone doesn't have a problem with noise.. with 8MPx it would be pretty stupid. Apple only with the automatic he prefers a higher aperture due to faster exposure, i.e. sharper photos, i.e. a higher ISO. Then Holt has to smooth out the noise, it loses detail and the risk of overshoot increases. But what's better: a decent photo where I can recognize what's on it or a blur without noise as soon as I or the object move a little.
I have to admit that the photos from Samsung are at a higher level, and this refers to sharpness, fine details, sum and also finer and more refined rendering. On the contrary, Samsung failed in the white balance, where it moved the colors to a warmer shade (the white balance cannot be adjusted on a JPEG photo without losing quality).
