Gamers on OS X finally got it, and a month after 2K Games released Civilization: Beyond Earth on Windows, the distributor Aspyr also released a Mac version. The latest installment of Civilization moves from Earth to space, and this time you have the honor of opening a new chapter for humanity by starting to colonize other planets. This may seem like a relatively easy task, but it's actually quite a challenge - you have to deal with what the new planet has to offer. Whether it is related to the surface of the planet or the alien creatures that live on it and can make the mission difficult for your galactic conquerors.
Fortunately, in addition to moving from the past to the future, Civilization has preserved its traditional elements, and we will once again encounter the possibility of developing new technologies, building armies and wonders of the world. The option of choosing a nation has now been replaced by the option of choosing a sponsor who will sponsor your space flight and on whose behalf you will adapt another planet for human settlement. By the way, while I mentioned flying around in space, Beyond Earth brings the ability to launch advanced satellites into planet orbit to give you strategically important defense, attack and support capabilities. The pleasure for players can definitely be that Civilization has no barriers, so you can play multiplayer even with players on Windows pc. The same applies to the synchronization of saved positions, which are compatible across platforms. Finally, let's look at the hardware requirements:
- OS X: 10.9.5 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite
- ProEmperor: Intel Core i3 (2.2 GHz)
- RAM: 4 GB
- Grafic card: ATI Radeon 4850, nVidia GeForce 640M, Intel HD 4000
- Vacancy: 8 GB
Civilization: Beyond Earth is available for 2% off on Steam for the next 30 days. So the price is €34,99, for which you get the game for Mac, Windows and Linux. For users Windows a demo version of the game is also available. You can buy the game right here.

It should be the same and a few hundred cheaper, people should learn NOT to buy on Steam but elsewhere and add additional games to the Steam library
If you only have a Mac, then App store It costs €32,99.
r00t: I wouldn't go for it, Steam games for Mac also have much better support than those from mac app store
I hate Steam from the bottom of my heart :)
I feel like the games from App Store They run better without Steam :)
Majdy: why don't you like him? I personally only use it as a game library
I also only use it as a library for the 10 games/2 games installed that I have there, but it really bothers me that if I want to run a game I need Steam, which sometimes doesn't work because it has an outage, you want to play CS with your friends once in a while, but they release an update where it lags for everyone and the enthusiasm is gone, because updates have to come out every day, or then the game crashes because of it (although this does not directly affect steam), donefor a long time, non-smooth scrolling, full of errors, just a few days ago an update was released, which prevented the fact that nothing was installed in the library after startup, it really pissed me off, if a person donea long time ago he played the video in full screen, so either it didn't work or the whole thing fell down appka, the videos are not even in HD quality... and I'm not saying that they're calling me out with their laziness, Steam got retina support about two months ago and even then only the main elements are still checkered, we've had retina for over two years, they still don't have Yosemite support, it'll probably come for another two years... it's just bad when I compare it to others appWhat I have is worse. appI've probably never had anything on my Mac, even crappy free crap that hundreds of people from all over the world download are retina ready, but Steam took two years and only half of it…
