As you may have noticed shortly after installing OS X Yosemite, the system may offer you various tips. Among these tips, however, there is also a hidden one that aims to notify users Chrome and Firefox that they could try the new version Safari. Apple wants to take this step to warn users that the latest version Safari brings several important innovations related to its design, energy saving and speed. Latest version Safari because it brings a novelty in the form of a new Nitro JavaScript engine, which is now so fast that it overtakes Firefox and others Chrome.
Apple while presenting that Safari 8 brought a big increase in speed JavaScript in JetStream and Speedometer tests. He did 81% better in the first test and up to 89% better in the second test compared to Safari 7. The almost two-fold increase in speed is proof that Apple really focused on speeding up the browser. In addition, there has been an increase in security, support for DuckDuckGo alternative search, and a Private Browsing mode in a separate window has also been added, thanks to which users can surf the Internet in both ways at the same time. Safari also has support Continuity s iOS 8. There has also been an increase in battery saving which makes it last Safari up to two hours longer when watching video.
I have it. Safari clearly the slowest in loading pages compared to Firefox and ChromeAlthough it improved after installing Yosemite, I still have about a 1-3 second delay before the page loads.
so it is with me Safari now noticeably faster than Chrome, which I have used almost exclusively until now. Now I am giving it a try again.anci Safari. The main reason is that Chrome started to lag on the MBPr 13 when playing videos... a normal stream from YT or Vimeo meant that the computer literally got hot and the fans started running. In Safari calm and cold. I don't know where the problem is and I can't figure it out... Safari solves
I started using Safari about synchronization with iPhone and iPad, but on Mac, some pages take up the whole Mac so much that I get stuck safari. If it doesn't get better I'll go back to firefox.
Chrome and FF=out just because of their politics. Speed Safari it's still lightning fast.
I hate to say it but safari is it better now than chrome, which is slower on Yosemite (I'll ignore that as it's not noticeable on the frame)
