Could you imagine an opera about Steve Jobs? Francjust obviously hey. The Opéra de Lyon is preparing a new opera play, Steve Five: King Different, which combines elements of the biography by Walter Isaacson and Henry V by Shakespeare. The story will practically follow the parallel events that happened in the life of the King of England and the King of Silicon Valley. The opera will premiere on March 14 / March at the Théâtre de la Renaissancev in the city of Lyon, and will be played for the next three days.
The author of the opera is the German composer Roland Auzet, who was inspired by Walter Isaacson's biography. The events in the lives of both personalities are very similar, but it should be taken into account that Henry V did not invent the touch phone or the tablet. However, both were able to change lives through ideas. So they are connected by ingenuity, even though the two "kings" are separated by approximately 500 years. The author finally reveals that the opera contains rap and classical orchestra, poetry, spoken word and singing.
