Despite the fact that after the conference WWDC information about iOS 7 overshadowed the new OS X Mavericks, that doesn't mean it's out of the game. Among the several applications that the new version of OS X offers, it is also possible to find a new version of the application Apple Maps, adapted for the OS X operating system. Apple at the same time decided to compete with Google and offers FlyOver mode in its new application, thanks to which it competes very intensively with the well-known Google Earth software.
Along with the PC version Apple Maps and its development seems to sa Apple trying to complete his world map in 3D mode as quickly as possible. Over the weekend, the Business Insider portal brought a collection of photos that at least partially approximate what OS X Mavericks users can look forward to. Similar to the upgraded version Google Maps, also Apple Maps are capable of distinguishing between day and night and adapt to it.

Really very nice…
As I wrote earlier. Potential Apple maps will only be seen because they have a good foundation and these are the first swallows.
I agree with both, I think maybe the initial failure helped/is helping and as fast as it spread everywhere, what a crap, it will spread so fast later, how cool is it here :)
First Apple Maps unfortunately they were a disappointment... Now to us Apple shows its strength and potential, even the best :)
These pictures are really good :) and I wonder how it will be in 10 years? Where will the technology move :) let's be surprised
I join my colleagues,Apple I have a good foundation and amazing technology, those pictures are amazing!!
Colorado is fine, but that was to be expected. The quality will be shown only by pictures from some fork. What does Prague look like, for example. Does anybody have?
I haven't been able to get the map up and running yet :( It doesn't run on MBP or in the VMware virtual environment :(
I have OS X 10.9 DP2 (upgraded tonight)… Everything works as expected – “world” cities (e.g. Paris) great, I also tried to find the Golden Gate and it looks the same as here… Unfortunately xth category country (from the point of view Apple) not much yet. Prague offers a satellite view, but so far only in low resolution and from above, i.e. blurred when zooming in and the 3D view cannot be "tilted" as in the samples here... ;)
