To try out the application, he can find here 18 free products, the number of which will be constantly increasing. Other products need to be purchased. Among the products offered, the user will find tourist maps from the entire Czech Republic and Slovakia, and partly from Austria, as well as car maps, cycling maps covering the entire Czech Republic, plans of all our regional cities, tourist guides to the most important tourist areas in our country and Slovakia, as well as guides for trips to interesting areas in Europe and the world. Individual guides are gradually being translated into German and English by native speakers. The application is being prepared to deploy the complete map production from Austria (currently about half), Franceancie and Hungary.
On the development of the application itself and the production of its content they work together Freytag & Berndt (the most important publisher of tourist literature in Central Europe), SHOCart (the largest map publisher in the Czech Republic and Slovakia), Rother Verlag (the most famous publisher of tourist guides in Europe), IGN (the largest map publisher in France)ancii), András Szarvas (the largest map publisher in Hungary) and others.
All maps and guides available in the app are based on the traditional printed versions they are on users used to. Map key of products in PhoneMaps is identical to printed maps. The guides include the maps shown above tourist spots of interest, which consist of a textual description and visual material. Tourist points of interest thoroughly represent the most important tourist attractions, but the user is not burdened with often very variable information about the tourist infrastructure.
In addition to the representation of tourist points above the maps, it is also possible to use the mode for visualization expanded reality. It is the addition of the image captured in real time by the mobile phone camera with information about tourist points of interest located in the user's field of vision. It is possible to display the current one on all maps used in the application and in individual products GPS position user. Full text is possible on the maps search individual locations. Controlling the application is fully intuitive and easy even for lay users of mobile phones and tablets.
