Not only in the USA, some names are spelled completely differently than they are pronounced, and so my Siri from the beginning there has been a problem with the pronunciation of some, especially less common, names. However, recently in iOS 7 Siri takes the initiative and you will no longer have to, that is, if you use it in the Czech Republic and Slovakia Siri, manually enter fonethe pronunciation of individual names. If Siri pronounces a name incorrectly, you can simply tell her that the name is not pronounced that way and Siri will enter the learning process. At this stage, it will ask you how to pronounce the name and automatically repeat it.
You simply choose the option that is closest to the correct pronunciation you are looking for. Siri they said and she will always use the correct pronunciation. It is interesting that Siri begins teaching only in iOS 7 and it's also all the more reason why Apple still marked Siri like Beta version. Its possibilities are practically unlimited and depend only on Applu and its developers, how far they will let the artificial intelligence of digital assistants go and what all it will enable. Other news in iOS 7 includes, for example, the option nochat Siri turn on the LED light. We are sure that in the final version iOS 7 is Siri will learn many other new things and become the perfect digital assistant. Unfortunately, the Czech project Siri ended due to copyright, which he of course owns himself Apple and so it is Siri in Czech or Slovak still out of sight.

I think the stumbling block is that Siri she doesn't use it here, it's not in Czech and some names or titles simply can't be said in English... how many times have I asked her to call someone and before I could finish speaking, I would click on it in the menu 3 times faster...
I admire the 10% of people who siri I use it regularly,
in order to siri I can't wait for the little girl to get better, I'm sorry she's not a Slovene v siri and that he doesn't search for bars and restaurants in Slovakia, that he can't reserve cinema tickets and the like, he's simply in Slovakia siri almost unusable
HenX
I said something to her again, let her dial a name and she started dialing something completely different and at the same time I said it comprehensibly, I tried it this way several times....
but one thing is for sure siri great: when I say:
find me movies playing in new york – so I know what the new movies are, if it also worked in Slovakia, I could book a ticket directly and the like
Without SK, CZ language support, this makes no sense at all, even if the possibility to edit the spoken command was pleasing.
I also admire the currently 8.94% who are actively using it.
Re: Amnart! find me movies playing in new york – hey, I also have a couple of similar phrases that will see it for the first time, but I simply can't give some words.
Amnart:
The problem of not recognizing who you want to call is that you have to say the name of the chosen one with EN pronunciation.
I would also be interested in who uses Siri native. If you want to use Siri for the contact so that she understands you perfectly, assign a nickname to the given contact and fill in the number in the nickname, so then just say Siri:
Call nickname 55
It works quite well, but you need to choose numbers that you can understand perfectly even when you're at a loss :-) I have the numbers of VIP people that I call often.
If anyone has other tuning commands, let me know, I just thought of this and that's how I use it.
I most often use it to make phone calls, play music and find out about certain news, such as sports results, and sometimes I come across something out of boredom :)
Jarys: that's clear, but how would you say František in English? :D
RE: Marek Bednář cool idea, but then it loses a lot of functionality when you have to carry a conversion table in your head :D :).

It's a good memory exercise and it should help to stop Alzheimer's :D
