Server & Hosting theatlanticcities.com posted a series of pictures that we don't get to see every day. A fascinating study shows in which areas people use which operating system. A sociodemographic survey found that while most iPhones are in areas with wealthier household incomes, Android is more prevalent in areas with lower incomes. The study was created on the basis of more than three billion tweets sent since September 2011, which monitored the very areas and devices from which the tweet was sent. From this incredible number, devices used by tourists who do not live in the area were subsequently filtered out, resulting in the survey you are looking at now.
A unique survey shows that the closer people are to the city center, the more they use iPhone, this is especially interesting because American cities are characterized by a large difference in rent for apartments in the center and for apartments or houses in the outskirts. In the picture from New YorkWe can also see an area in Manhattan where there are a lot of purple dots indicating facilities. BlackBerry, this is the district where the famous Wall Street is located. The red dots on the map indicate iPhone a zelené Android, fialové tečky jsou již zmínění uživatelé BlackBerry.
New York
Chicago
Houston
Atlanta
Los Angeles
Jakarta – a place where they truly love BlackBerry!
In my opinion, BlackBerry v New Yorku can't find it on Wall St. but in the Rockefeller Center area.
but we know he lives in the USA, and he said he has it there iphone every person, that is, no matter how much a person earns, supposedly even the one with the lowest income has iphone
android skor prevazuje v europe, prekvapuje ma kolko ludi v USA pouziva android
so 3% of people in the usa had it 90 years ago iphone, today it is said to be 60%, that is a huge drop :(
amnart ale uvědom si, že android je na asi milionech devices from 1k to 20k from several companies. iOS it's just on iphone of one company. So even the 60% is actually just apple kdežto ten zbytek se dělí mezi všecky ty firmy využívající android. Tak či tak je tahle studie velice zajímavá :). Co vím tak v londýně jsou snad jen dva telefony. Od applu or from BB :). You rarely see another phone there :)

I understand what you mean, but while every manufacturer had its own software - HTC, SONY, LG, Samsung and Nokia apple practically controlled the market, thanks to the fact that the last ones had stupid phones
I have today though apple in my opinion good software, and ios 7 is enough of a change for me, so people look at the mobile phone parameters table...
How many people have I already explained that Samsung galaxy s3 or note 2 have worse graphics than iphone 4S, or smooth control, people are simply fooled by marketing, so I buy 4 cores with the performance of a 2-core iPhone
Amnart tú poselednú vetu si povedal veľmi výstižne… Lenže koľkokrát sa stane, že ani ten 4-jadrový android nemá ani len zdaleka taký výkon ako iPhone 4 with one core…

That's complete bullshit :-) The US has never had 90% iPhone penetration of all cell phones :-) Forget it, just like forget any sort of decline in interest, or decline in iPhone sales in the US.
iMac
apple had a 90% share of smartphone sales in the US in 2009-2010, not all phones, maybe I expressed myself wrong, now they have around 50-60%
That's a pretty significant difference. Amnarte :-) If only one type of Smartphone is sold in a country because there isn't another one in the world yet, for example, then you have 100% share even with a single piece, oven :-) One piece = 100% share in the entire USA, for example :-) This means that this number (market share) is completely meaningless, it simply doesn't say anything at all.

Yes, even in the USA, people have started exchanging old Nokias and Ericssons with Symbian and buying different new smartphones of different brands. But they didn't start getting rid of iPhones at the expense of Android phones.
But pictures from Europe won't show it, because it's all green there :)
