"The watch is there if you want to look at what time it is, but if we're talking about texting, wouldn't it be nice if you could just look at your wrist?" stated Rattner.

It's not too surprising that Intel has become interested in new smartwatches, which are likely to follow in the footsteps of tablets and smartphones.onewill be one of the biggest interests of technology companies across the world. Intel wants to be a part of it and capture the first wave of smart watch production, in which the company could supply its own chips. Smart watches have already been introduced by companies such as Sony or Geek, but they ended up in drawers rather than on users' wrists, because they were not as intelligent a solution as it might seem at first glance.

Currently, basically everyone is waiting for one of the leading players such as Samsung, Google or Apple they will come up with their own smart watch solution that will most likely determine the future of this entire industry. If it is specifically about Apple, here, according to the latest speculation, a smart watch is expected to be introduced at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year with a 1,5″ AMOLED display and Bluetooth 4.0 connection.
