While so far we have not found any closer mention that it would Apple could work on the smartwatch, shortly after release beta system versions iOS and OS X these mentions are starting to appear. In addition to the mention of game controllers in a huge collection of new APIs for developers, another new framework has appeared that will allow developers to connect app notifications to Bluetooth devices, even without the need to have those apps running.
Among other things, the new API related to notifications will allow the notification center to be integrated directly into such devices, making it possible that we will actually meet the iWatch in the future. According to speculation so far, it is this watch that should provide users with the system iOS and compatibility with applications, but we still don't know which ones. After all, only the iWatch should offer a display with a diagonal of 1.5″ and it is very unlikely that this resolution would allow running a full-fledged browser Safari or other software.
According to reports so far, the iWatch should communicate with iPhone and iPad via Bluetooth technology and can potentially serve as a product with NFC. Smart watches and devices that use the Bluetooth interface could account for up to 250 million devices sold this year, thanks to their growing popularity.
