Despite being owned by Reuters along with Bloomberg to the world's most respected news agencies, the report it published today is very difficult to believe and therefore please take it with due caution. On the other hand, the fact is that Reuter will probably have really good sources directly at Applu and its suppliers. According to Reuters today, it plans to Apple introduce the so-called low-cost iPhone in several different colors later this year. That wouldn't be unusual, since it's just a cheaper version iPhone spekuluje v podstatě od začátku letošního roku. Ovšem Reuters dodává jednu velmi zajímavou informaci a tou je cena. Nový levnější iPhone should be available for $99, or roughly 2000 CZK.
The $99 price tag is really beyond common sense, especially when the 16GB version of the iPod touch without a camera costs $229. The only option is to look at the low-cost iPhone from a completely different angle. If Reuters was right, a new iPhone It looks roughly like an iPod nano with a simple calling feature, but here too we run into a problem. The regular iPod nano costs $149 and is the company's cheapest product. Apple with a display that would probably be unavoidable for calls. The Reuters agency thus published a report, which is interesting at first glance, however Apple probably will not fulfill its original considerations.
"Apple will introduce two new models this year iPhone. Meanwhile iPhone 5s will offer new technologies and a fingerprint sensor, cheaper iPHone will offer a plastic cover and Apple plans to sell it in five to six colors variain the past. In the US, the price for this should be iPhone $99, at least that's what the company was considering, but the final price is not yet clear. Trial production was supposed to start in June, but the color mixing is taking longer than expected and due to the very high and idealistic standards Appthe start of production is postponed for the time being,” according to Reuters.

I don't understand what's so strange about that? It can be assumed that this is a fixed-term award. And if iPhone 5 (in the future iPhone 5S) starts at $199, so budget iPhone must be cheaper...
Well, of course, because in America they always use subsidized prices... Rarely is a subsidized price used for iPhones... And as I skimmed through the Reuters report, I still assume that it is a subsidized price... It certainly won't cost 99 budget iPhone and from 649 the classic one... That's just elementary logic that it's a subsidized price ;-)
what if someone made a mistake in the source and the price
99 dollars was meant for a flat rate??
it will be soon iphone 5 with a different design and for $99 per flat and in multiple colors, and will be finely hardware trimmed
— apple now he earns the most on the iPod shuffle, because €50 for something that has a production value, so €2-3 is a lot :D
iphone 5 cost $199 = parts value
4S can be worth about 150 usd
iphone 4 99 usd - value of suciastok
ipod touch also fits under 140 dollars, so i doubt that 99 usd would be a mobile phone
Are you really serious? Can you really imagine that it would be an unsubsidized price? Of course, neither of us has any way of proving what Reuters meant by that, but it just seems obvious to me that it's with the subsidy. Apple also lists the iPhone 5 as $199 on the site. I don't know what to add to that. It comes to me as a matter of course.
But who knows, maybe he'll come to us iPhone for 2600 CZK without a contract. It looks downright realistic :-D
RZ: Everyone can deduce that logically, right? When apple itself primarily states the price of subsidized equipment on its website, even on keynote It presents it like this. Only a fool can interpret the message as meaning that for $100 they will get a new IP without a subscription.
But just to be clear, if it is onen "low cost" iphone only $100 cheaper than the classic one, so it's definitely not low-cost.
Isn't that $999 by any chance?
Roman just wants to start a passionate discussion and attendance :))
na bloomberg I couldn't find the news anywhere, only on Reuters.. :-/
It just occurred to me that, purely in theory, they could be cheaper iphone, after the introduction of the new one, sell the current 5 but in a different – cheap body + some concession (16GB memory, etc..). They would simply remove the technologically demanding process - the current aluminum body - and have two "new" products. The question is whether I want to do it that way.
