"Maverick makes working with multiple displays much easier. Menu Bar and Dock is available on each display, allowing the user to simply launch any application on the display of their choice without any additional setup. (that British English is really terrible to listen to!)
I would just like to point out that there is no 6x there Apple Thunderbolt Display, "only" 3x. The remaining 3 at the top are Dell :>
I don't see what is the use of virtual surfaces for 6 monitors. I certainly know professions where it could theoretically be used, but it wouldn't work on a Mac.
What is enough to do, CAD, programming, shares, stock market, demanding work with videos... this and a bunch of others where you can use 6 surfaces... just because you play solitaire doesn't mean that someone doesn't play pinball...
He didn't have an apartment. Dock on every display? I thought that was how it was supposed to work.
Well, I'll use two monitors. I would definitely use one more, but 6 is really a lot.
For Forex, 2 is enough for me, sometimes I would use 3, but otherwise it would be a total waste for me.
The only thing that bothers me is that the Thunderbolt Display, when it is next to the iMac, does not fit together very well. It would be nice if the monitors were exactly identical. …but I understand that having a silver stripe under Thunderbolt is nonsense.
@ DomoKun:
if you think I'm playing solo on the computerairWell, you're quite mistaken, and they probably haven't taught you how to understand written text yet. I wrote about virtual desktops, not about the excess of 6 monitors. You would be right. Mac Pro welcome and enjoy, but I definitely wouldn't need virtual desktops. I do 3D visualizations and I also use CAD to read from drawings, so I know what CAD work is...just for your information ;-)
