You paid for exclusivity in some way and they're going to wall it off like this - they're going to create inconsistent coloring books, icons like from Symbian Anna. It must annoy everyone who doesn't like the system. I personally don't care about the world, but you develop some kind of relationship with it (not to mention Android geeks), so I'd say that the appearance is a damn important part of the phone. They should have made some minor changes, added new features. Why change something that works - why try to be equal to others when there's no need for it!
maybe Ive took Jobs's advice and tried a little LSD while creating :) I really wouldn't add those flashy colors to it even by mistake. It hits me in the eye every time :D

I am not saying that the iOS7 I have no reservations and prefer a decent conservative design, but then again, products Apple I definitely have it for things other than looks. iOS on the phone and tablet. I'm not saying it's not important to me, but it's definitely not a priority.
I find it funny how I read in the discussions here cries like "I'm done with Apple", "Current iPhone was my last, I'm moving on", "Steve is turning in his grave, they would never allow that" etc. It would be nice if these comments LSA collected and we looked at them here in January 2014. It would probably be interesting to see how many of those hysterics would be here under the same Nick iOS7 carried to the heavens.
iOS 6 after so many years maybe he needed to jump forward and what they showed on WWDC It's a big leap. I'm just not there right now. 100% sure if he wasn't a little to the side rather than forward.
iOSI don't have the 7 working on my phone yet and I'll wait until the fall to give a review, when I'll have tried it for a few days. But I know one thing for sure now, it certainly won't shake my loyalty to the brand in any way!

Jarys: It's a fact that I've now seen screenshots with other wallpaperya it looks different now. I was also looking at keynote and in reality it's a little different than in the static images, the effects balance it out a bit... it's definitely a matter of habit, like with everything new, it just seems to me that this is simply not Apple! Everyone was always trying to imitate Apple and now it seems to me that it's the other way around.. I still don't know if I should try the beta..
For me it's probably a first beta which I'll gladly skip :( I hope they make the design more consistent by the time the final version is released. I really don't like this.
