According to the company notes Apple to issue the first beta OS X 10.9 Mavericks will be the new OS compatible with all Mac computers that can run the current version of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Apple OS X 10.9 Maverick will require 64-Bit Intel Macs running OS X 10.6.7 or later and 8GB of free space to install. Computers that are compatible with OS X 10.9 are almost the same as those that can run OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.
