Lately I've been encountering more and more the problem that if you don't want to use iCloud, are not the individual products of the company Apple too connected. Moreover, even when you use iCloud, you are severely limited in file transfer. However, there is a very interesting and free application that simply becomes part of your computer's menuBar and allows you to instantly send or receive any file from iOS device. Just download the app Instashare pro iOS and her OS X versionBoth versions are completely free, however, if you want the app for iOS to use it without ads, just pay €0,89 and you will never be bothered by ads again. Moreover, if I may appeal a little to our readers, I would see 89 cents here as a reward for the great work of the developers, because you will definitely survive the ads in the application.
The application works on a very simple principle, whether on a Mac or in iOS drag any file you want to send to another device onto the device icon and the file will automatically start sending. Then, all you have to do is confirm the file reception on the other device, and of course you can set the file to be received automatically from the device. Everything works on the Wi-Fi principle and there is no need to turn on Bluetooth or connect the computer to it in any way. iOS devices. All you need to do is have both devices on the same Wi-Fi network and you can send files instantly. The process is very simple and you will understand it best after watching the following screenshotat.

The application works really reliably and the data transfer speed is limited only by the speed of the routers, so the transfer is faster than using USB. Lightning cable. The application can be set to launch immediately after system startup, so your Mac is ready to receive or send files. Instantshare works exactly the same as Airdrop, but we can use it across iOS and OS X.
- Instashare pro iOS you can download it for free on iTunes App Store right here.
- You can download Instashare for OS X for free right here.
so this is not it AirDrop. AirDrop is the ability of both devices to create a temporary Ad-Hoc network behind the entire transmission. Everyone knows how to transfer files when both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, it's not a science...
Well, I'm completely satisfied. It works great and I don't care if it's based on the principle AirDrop or not.
Super appka, I just want to know where it downloads the photos I sent from my mac to iphone or on the ipad :D... I really don't see it anywhere, only always transfer from mac to iOS it goes through, but then I don't even have the photo in my albums and I can't find it in that application either...
Edit: ok I figured it out, sorry for the spam :D...
it also works between iOS a iOS ?
Otherwise, this is the ONLY application (that I know of) that can get (save) any third-party video into the integrated "Pictures" application (Camera, Albums, Photostream) at iPhone or iPad. Third-party apps can only access this, not others, so if I want to share someone else's video, unedited iPhonem, I have to get it there first.
I use imassage for this. I send any photo/video and it appears on both my iMac and my iPhone/iPad. So this seems a bit redundant to me. Or can I send music from here too? ios to mac os and vice versa?
