Company Apple today released a new version of the OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion operating system, this time specifically the fourth update called OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion. The update is of course available completely free directly from Mac App Store and is recommended for all users of the latest version of the OS X operating system, i.e. for users of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Apple this time it really worked, and OS X 10.8.4 brings a number of fixes for known and lesser-known bugs that only affect a smaller number of users.
The update also includes a new version of the operating system Safari, this time in version Safari 6.0.5, which improves browser stability when viewing advanced web pages containing chatThe update, of course, brings a new security update in addition to bug fixes. We recommend that all OS X 10.8.4 users update their operating system to the latest version.
Well, I'm curious. ML is the most buggy OS X I've had. Lion was no longer a bully, but here I attack levelly Windows.
I am satisfied with ML, compared to Lion it is a far less buggy OS.
But to the point, this update brought significant stability airplay and improved the smoothness of video playback at higher resolutions. On my retina, I previously experienced lower fps when playing videos on airplay. After the update it's fine. They also fixed the bug with switching audio to airplay
In addition, they improved TRIM support for Neapolitan SSDs, trim enabler should no longer be needed. I personally feel the acceleration of the system and better battery life. I got over 7 hours of battery life with the retina during normal work with Wi-Fi turned on, so I'm satisfied so far.
I'm starting to have problems with ML that I didn't experience with Lion and not at all with SL (Leopard wasn't as good as SL). Airplay it's chapter itself...that one didn't work very well on iMac 2011. Resp. that sound. I have here Mac Pro and there thanks to Xenon video Airthere is no play (only sound), so it saved me the trouble and I use Beamer :D Otherwise, it often happens to me that I can't switch to the secondary desktop with a gesture, it even froze a few times (never with SL, maybe once with Lion). I'm curious if it's learned with the new OS X. TRIM support is notapphunting SSDs had to be turned on manually, is it now the default, or did they improve it?
Trim support should no longer need to be turned on manually, but so far it looks like this is not the case for all manufacturers. E.g. With OCZ, it still has to be turned on manually. According to information from the forums, it is already the default for Crucial.
Otherwise current Mac Pro is already very outdated. For example, the new FinalCut for x at all nestThe architecture of Lion and ML is not very good for Mac Pro suitable. So I would not recommend that onechat on SL. I tried on mine Mac pro 8core various upgrades, ram up to 64GB, better graphics and still couldn't edit smoothly on the new FinalCut, don't even think about editing native AVCHD. On the retina, it runs smoothly and without any problems.
I've thought a lot about going back to SL, but I haven't tried it because I'd probably miss the goodies from the new OS X. But I'll probably throw some SSDs in there and try it :) Normally you guys blew me away!
Mark, what 8core MacPro, that nestHey FCX, what exactly do you mean?
Anyone having a problem with the new version of OS X 10.8.4? After the update, Wi-Fi started disconnecting, I have to connect manually every minute.

So it was just a coincidence; nahonec I just restarted the router and everything is ok.
Dude I have a version Mac pro 4.1, 8core 2,26., I added 64GB of RAM, added disks and after some time I replaced the terrible GP 120 graphics with a radeon 5770. FCPX doesn't run very well on it. Delayed responses when I use blackmagic tab for reference preview, the image is completely choppy. I had no problem with the old FinalCut 6,7. I also tried a clean installation of ML, but with no acceptable result, on my retina, FCPX cuts one poem. It is possible that the newer Mac Pro 5.1 will be better, but I haven't had a chance to try it. Anyway, a new one should be introduced in a few days Mac pro so let's be surprised :).
