Lead developer and manager responsible for Google Maps Bernard Seefeld presented Google Maps as Maps created for you, i.e. for users. The next version of this software from Google will be simpler, more tailored to your needs and more perfect, said Seefeld. Unfortunately, we did not learn from his mouth when the new product will be launched for mobile phones, but it will be available for tablets later today, i.e. in our time zone tomorrow in the early morning hours. However, this information is questionable, because there is already speculation that the new maps will be able to be used by conference participants first and this information was intended only for them, not for the public.
As with almost every product recently, this time too we will see the so-called intelligent help, which will automatically alert you to places that you may like in your area. So if you regularly visit castle ruins, during your travels the map will automatically alert you to other similar places in your area, and of course it will also offer the same for shops and establishments of your favorite businesses. If you also connect to social networks, you will also be able to use the recommendations of your friends. For example, if you decide to visit Paris, which your Google+ friends have already been to, the places that they rated as suitable places to visit will automatically be displayed. In addition, navigation in Google Maps intelligently guides you. All streets except the selected route disappear from the map and you will only see your route and destination. Of course, you can look into selected objects not only from the outside in 3D, but also from the inside.
Google points out that each user will essentially see their own map, where they can find everything they are interested in. This means that if you only go to Green Tree Coffee, you won't see Starbucks unless you search for them. Conversely, your friend who prefers Starbucks won't see other cafes. Google will also bring a new Google Earth interface directly to WebGL Google Maps, which allows more important information to be displayed in a smaller space.
The biggest advantage for every adventurer who first explores everything on Google maps are 3D satellite images that were previously only available as part of Google Earth. They are now incorporated into the online version of the new Google Mapsin which it is possible to zoom in on the city and walk around it similarly to Apple Maps in the Flyover function. The advantage is that Google has, compared to Applu several times the number of mapped locations. Of course, there will also be a zoom function that will allow you to view the entire planet and even the entire Milky Way.
