Apple is really one of the few companies that, one might say, take great care to ensure that their products are not associated with violent or sexual content in any way. The mentioned violence was also on the cover of the new album of the Czech group Monkey Business, which is called Happness of Postmodern Age. And since Apple does not want to promote violence in any way, the company refused to publish the album on iTunes Store and asks the group to change the packaging because a severed head is violent and not suitable for families.

"They told us from iTunes that either we will change the cover or the album will not be offered because it violates the rules," says Michal Koch from Supraphon for the portal idnes.cz. On the original cover, the band captured a Templar knight with a severed head in his hand, and since this is a manifestation of violence, the cover will be available on iTunes in a special form in which the knight is holding a rugby ball. The reason why the band decided to gift the templar with a ball is because the album booklet has a story about a knight playing American football.

"In today's era of explicit photos and clips of female singers that look as if they were directed by Robert Rosenberg, I don't understand how someone can be offended by an obviously artificial severed head," says Monkey Business frontman Matěj Ruppert for idnes.cz. The album itself will go on sale on March 8, but you can pre-order it now
