Broadcom, officially a few hours ago presented a new generation of chips for mobile devices, enabling wireless koneactivity. The main novelty is support ultra fast Wi-Fi standard 802.11 ac. Since the company Apple in their iOS devices has used exclusively Broadcom chips from the beginning, it is expected that the new BCM4335 will also be integrated in future iPad models and iPhone.
It will continue to be manufactured using the 40nm manufacturing process, will support Bluetooth 4.0, FM and all Wi-Fi standards, including 802.11ac. It is also equipped with the most advanced consumption management system, which allows you to quickly increase the life of the battery-powered device. Unfortunately, the BCM4335 will not be available until the 1st quarter of 2013, which means that in a few months the introduced iPhone 5 probably won't include it yet.
