Macsales.com published a photo on his blog that proves the performance of the new Retina MacBooku Pro it is enough to be able to transmit the signal to three external screens and its own monitor without any problems. The image transfer took place via Thunderbolt technology on two Apple Thunderbolt screens and a third monitor was connected via HDMI toonewhich Along with your screen so Retina MacBook Pro displayed the image on four displays, the total number of pixels of which was up to 15.
During testing, when playing different video content simultaneously on all four monitors, none occurred oneimage blurring and not a hint of lack of performance. It follows that MacBook Pro Retina is the second device, after the work desktop Mac Pro, from the company Apple, which can natively display different content on four different screens simultaneously.

I'm already looking forward to it, only the 4 weeks of delivery are a stretch.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on with the Thunderbolt->FireWire adapter they showed on Keynote? On Apple.cz or on Apple.com is not available. Only the reduction to Ethernet. After all, I won't connect the DVCam player other than via FW.
There is nothing and it won't be for a long time. For $300, there's something coming from Belkin for the end of the year: http://zkrat.me/belkin
It won't be long before I record to an external drive via the desktop iMac.
I hope it will not turn out like in 1998, when I was waiting for the built-in VGA adapter for connecting the external monitor of the first iMac almost 10 months after its introduction...
In the picture I see 2x iMacs and one monitor, probably from LG. This is most likely a mistake.
Well, the fact that it lights up three displays doesn't mean that it can handle them... If so, it's really a top-notch machine.
It's been about a week since I thought of it too, unfortunately I don't have a new MBP(r) yet, but theoretically we could connect up to 4 ledcinemy (or thunderbolt). :-) This is really tempting, now only 50 thousand... :-)
So that's…performance.
