iPhone The Dev-Team released untethered a few minutes ago iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak, in version Redsn0w 0.9.10b1, by the well-known hacker Pod2G. The following devices are currently supported: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad 1.
Official information:
- untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak is possible on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM, iPhone 4 CDMA, iPad 1, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G
- If you have one of the mentioned devices, but not yet iOS 5.0.1, update now! SHSH backup already supports it.
- When you have iOS 5.0.1, use the latest RedSn0w 0.9.10 untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak
- If you already have a jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1 , you have two options: either run Redsn0w 0.9.10 on your current jailbreak (uncheck "Install Cydia") or install the Cydia package.
Instructions for untethered jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.10b5:
First of all, I would like to point out that the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, are not supported and it is an untethered jailbreak, which means that after restarting iZariadenia, it is not necessary to use a PC to run it. Next, I recommend doing restore of your iZariadenia and then convert untethered JB.
Step 1: Download the latest version of iTunes (10.5.2) for Windows or Mac from here.
Step 2: Back up your device via iTunes.
Step 3: Update your device to iOS 5.0.1.
4 step: Download the latest version of Redsn0w pre Windows or Mac. Also, you can use Cydia on jailbroken iZariadenia package called Corona 5.0.1 Untether which will make you an untethered JB without needing a PC.
Step 5: Run Redsn0w. Select “Extras”, then “Select IPSW” and open the .ipsw iOS 5.0.1
Step 6: Press "Jailbreak" and select "Install Cydia". Get yours iPhone/iPod/iPad into DFU mode, follow the steps on the screen and wait. (as long as you already have JB on iOS 5.0.1 from previous versions of Redsn0w so uncheck "Install Cydia"! )
Step 7: Congratulations! If you followed the steps correctly, your iZariadenie is jailbroken.

Untethered Exploid Leaked Ahead of Release iOS 5.1 -> very sad matter. It is probably the same exploid for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, which may never be launched.

It is not necessary to add anything at all because Corona is located in the BIgBoss repository which is by default in Cydia, but the BigBoss servers are currently overloaded so it takes a while before Corona appears in Cydia :-)

Cydia download not working.
Cydia is currently overloaded as with every new untethered jailbreak, it just wants to wait :-)
When they released it without A5 support, be su 100% I'm sure I'll be able to release it sooner than that Apple fixed, or they don't have it, or there's nothing to wait for...

I immediately tried jb, but there was a problem with both cydia and the signal after restarting the apple. So back to tethered and waiting for a fix.
CORONA is a jailbreak via Cydia for those people who have a TETHERED jailbreak - so they don't need to run redn0w, they just install CORONA.
PEOPLE BEWARE!!! Top notch doesn't work with untethered iPhonedelivered iOS5 !!! (luxury SMS delivery notes). There is some problem with commcenter restarts, the phone is constantly searching for the network (operator) !!! The author of the tweak already knows about the problem.

Pavel: Try it from 0.9.10b2 and check if you put it there iOS 5.0.1 for your iZariadenia model and you also have 5.0.1 on it, and if it remains in DFU, just hold down the power button + home button for about 10 seconds and you will get out of it. Also try to make JB clean iOS so do itstore ... :-) then write how you got on

It's working for me now, after about 10 hours of updates and more attempts :-) I used 0.9.10b12 and the link to iOS in the article :-) and it runs even after a restart, I also tried everything H1siri, I found out that if you jailbreak UT there, you get the H1siri crashes and after restarting it is necessary to boot, just in case someone tries, I also tried to install siri then boot and then jailbreak again, all in vain, siri I don't have it, but I was pleased to see infiniboard and infini in cydiafolders is already running on iOS 5:-)

Please. I have Iphone 3gs from abroad, locked to only US carrier. I successfully performed an untethered jailbreak on IOS 5.0.1 . Sure, split the sim and throw clean again ios then jailbreak in itunes (I reflashed the ipad bband there to be sure) then when the jailbreak is ready, install it via cidi ultrasnow 125 then turn off the hair dryer and put the SIM card and then just turn off and on the flight mode and that's it.

I'm probably spamming a lot here, but I can't get into DFU mode even under 4 touch, I do it like the guy in the video by holding the power button and home button for 10 or less times always just resets :/
Gave: Yes you need iOS 5.0.1 download to the PC and follow the instructions to get it into Redsn0w and you can get into DFU mode as follows: Put the iPod in DFU mode by connecting the switched-on iPod to the PC via USB, turn on iTunes, when your device appears in iTunes press and hold home button + power button and when it turns off, release the power button but keep holding it home button until iTunes informs you that your iPod is in DFU now just press restore (recovery) and it should work... :)

Hello, I have a technical problem… iPhone 4 tethered JB with redsn0w_win_0.9.9b8 and iPhone3,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw, now I wanted to make it untethered with JBsredsn0w_win_0.9.10b3 and iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw. I still have to manually boot, so I'm probably still tethered, even though I iPhone writes Version: 5.0.1 (9A405). You don't know what to do with it.

Well, I had the tethered JB 5.O.1 and I uploaded the 0A9 via redsn405w with the fact that I unchecked "install Cydia", so I don't know where the error is. After the reset, it didn't start, so I booted. Oh, and after the reset it said that it couldn't connect somewhere and I had to wait some 60000 seconds. before it moved.
Broky: In your case, you have to do a full restore via DFU mode and then make an untethered jailbreak. You can enter DFU mode with it turned on iPhone you connect via USB to the PC, turn on iTunes, when your device appears in iTunes, press and hold it at once home button + power button and when it turns off, release the power button but keep holding it home button until iTunes informs you that your iPod is in DFU now just press restore (recovery) and then do a JB via rednsow as instructed and it should work…

hello I have a minor problem with mine iphone 4. I had it on version 4.3.3. .. according to the instructions, I put it on 5.0.1 with the fact that everything went like clockwork. iphone with JB-kol .. cydia was installed, everything works as it should... but the problem is... that JB didn't carry any sim card. I also tried ultrasn0w 1.2.5 but nothing.. they gave me the modem version 4.11.08, which they say does not support it... of course I need it for the SVK operator and the mobile is from Austria... can anyone help me? thank you
So at the moment you have your iPhone ... iPod touch because there is no unlock for your modem firmware at the moment ... it could have been saved with preserve baseband when would it be updated for you iOS but the firmware of the modem would remain the same, but at the moment it's irrelevant because you didn't consult the team before... there is still the option of putting an iPad baseband there, but it can't be removed and GPS won't work for you, and it's also not guaranteed even with it 100% functionality…

A clean jailbreak is recommended iOS this means that it would be better to save a backup and restore the iPhone and then jailbreak it...
