Server & Hosting 9to5mac.com got the button photos Home Button, which will be used in the 3rd generation iPad. There is nothing particularly special about this, if only there had been talk since the release of the 2nd generation iPad that the next iPad would not include it. Home Button and will fully replace it with gestures that are already in iOS 5 available for owners of current generations of iPad. From the outside, the button is completely identical to Home The button of the 2nd generation iPad. However, from the inside, we can see in the photo a significant difference between the button for the iPad 2 and the iPad 3rd generation. Apple is probably trying not only to improve the durability and functionality of the button, but also minito reduce its width.

Button Home The button has to be there, otherwise how would you take a picture of the desktop and other things like restarting or something...
as Roman says, they probably put it there because of the design, otherwise I would put it on the side like most other phones have and enlarge the display all the way to the edge.
however, you can use gestures with the button, so what's the problem, I would leave it there
Root: display to the edge? How would that ipad be held with one hand? That edge is only good for something
What do you need a capacitive button? It doesn't wear out. Like buttons on Androids….
Just draw it on the edge.
I would rather see it without the button. Home.
I personally can't imagine whether it's an ipad/pod/phone without the classic home button.. it's simply not the same anymore..
I'm just playing with a Nexus i9250 from a competitor and I can say that I like the capacitive buttons. home He also appreciated my other Apple toys...
