Mozilla has decided to give its users a Christmas present in the form of a new version of the Mozilla Firefox 9.0 internet browser. This time the update is focused especially on us, owners of computers with the Mac OS X operating system. Firefox 9.0 brings support for the two-finger gesture, with which you can Magic Trackpad, MacBook touchpad or Magic mouse browse through the history of pages. Personally, I have been using this gesture since the first time I used it Apple brought and Firefox never had the slightest problem, but now it's official. The new version also brings better navigation when working on a computer with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. Firefox no longer offers support for full-screen viewing under Lionem. However, the browser has its own full-screen mode, which, for example, I personally prefer over the Safari on Mac OS X 10.7. Of course, the developers also focused on improving support for HTML5, MathML and CSS, and also reduced access time when loading Java scripts, quite significantly. Other new features include, of course, fixing security bugs and improving browser performance and stability.

And they didn't add the zoom gesture? The only reason I use it Safari is that Firefox does not have this gesture.
I've been using it since the first alpha version. chrome Knowing that Firefox up to version 7 is simply slower on Mac, etc... I switched to Firefox from version XNUMX and I have to commend the guys, they are back in full force.
It is already available for Windows and Linux…
Well, I'm already full of Firefox. I was with them from 0.X version to windowsbut the further I go, the more disappointed I am. Not long ago, they were bragging about how less RAM will mature. And where am I? I open 50 tabs during the day and suddenly the mac starts cutting, I look at the free ram 100MB from 4 GB, I kill only one tab in firefox and I immediately have 1.5-2.5 GB free. So where did the comrades go wrong?
to hurfo: jQuery and similar opicartoday they have zero strong frames and the browser developers don't do anything about it, nestAll those animations have to be saved, and for the efficiency and speed of the website, it's a must. The complexity of the website content is increasing even as the complexity of the browser decreases.
hurfo: after about a week since I didn't turn off my mac, I have firefox 470MB + flash plugin 189 MB, I have 12 tabs open. 1. memories are really cheap these days, 2. when I know that I'm a hardcore browser, 50 tabs is a real mess in the browser perhaps I expect increased demands on memory. 3. firefox has improved rapidly since version 7
@toAll g chrome rulez and thanks for it. try it sometime, firefoxation. the np extension system is in a completely different dimension.... ff disappointed.
