Apple began rolling out iTunes Match internationally tonight. Currently, only the US service is being made available to iTunes users for now. Store in more and more countries. Apple today also released a new license agreement for the use of iTunes for the Czech and Slovak Store, which features a chapter on iTunes Match. News is starting to emerge tonight from countries around the world that have new access to iTunes Match.
At the time of writing this article, the service is active in the USA, Australia, France, andancii, Spain, New Zealand and Germany. In other countries, links appear deeper in iTunes Store to the iTunes Match service, which are a harbinger of its imminent launch.
This morning, iTunes Match also appeared in iTunes Store for the Czech Republic. From now on, we can, like other countries, legalize the content of our library for the amount of €24,99 per year. Service Apple iTunes Match is currently also available for users from the Slovak Republic.
iTunes Match
The iTunes Match service probably offers only one functionality for most people, and that is that after paying less than $25 per year Apple stop caring about where your music comes from. Apple However, this fee is also justified by another innovation, which is automatic music comparison. iTunes Store automatically compares music you upload to your iTunes library and if it is lower quality than 256Kbps, replaces it with music from iTunes Store even for songs and albums you purchased elsewhere or ripped from CDs.
Not for the whole world but:
“iTunes Match availability

Slovakia appstore iTunes match is running :)
I don't understand why they launched iTunes Match here before iTunes in the Cloud. Without cloudIt seems quite limiting to me. Or is it already working, I just overslept?
iTunes in the Cloud also running, item added to Purchased Music.
Three cheers.... There is a slight problem so far, it tells me an invalid password ID, but that was also when the Czech version was running. Store. I'm interested in how it is with the legalization. I don't have anything stolen, I don't care about that, but I care about the fact that I have music from CDs in one library, it's clear there, but then I have a lot of music purchased on US iTunes from before CZ iTunes. So how will it be? If everything is "legalized" for me now under one CZ account, that will be great. On US Store The only thing I occasionally download now are free songs of the week. Until now I streamed music to Apple TV from the computer, so now if it works directly, that's another big plus.
I'm a little hesitant to use it under a Czech account, because I primarily use a US account (it's cheaper and other benefits) and if I wanted to use CZ, it said that I can't change for the next 90 days Apple ID, which probably isn't worth it... I hope that soon there will be an option to pay using the amount on the ITMS account...
LUKE: I have a US account and iTunes Match too and I'm satisfied, rather activate it there, it's cheaper. Just get a US card (I know how).
anyway, I use SK and US because you can't find everything in SK, stupid politics and contracts, this music business, if you want something in depth from the given state, you have to have a concrete account anyway, nice buzzers. I still have UK, US and SK, coupons can be obtained for the first two, otherwise it would not be possible either.
ALEŠ SLABÝ: I would like to know how to get the US card :) and what are your experiences with iTunes Match? If I upload all the content to Cloudu, will I still be able to download songs to iTunes in Win? Or how to get iTunes Match after activating it cloudfor a new mp3 purchased outside of iTunes that I should have on my computer?
Ales Slaby: advice on how to get a US card?
Does anyone have experience playing songs with help Apple TV?
If you don't have a Mac or PC with iTunes installed at home, then iTunes Match is probably the ideal solution for you, right?
It is not clear to me what happens after the one-year term expires?
Playing music via Apple TV it's great, just like playing a movie, but sometimes it annoys me that I can't play it Apple TV load the library and I have to Apple TV turn off and turn on home sharing in the menu and then it works again. It's even weirder to me because I have everything from the Time Capsule router to the Apple and so I would expect reliability on 100%
I want to ask, the iTunes Match item and the i icon for songs disappeared from iTunes.cloudHey, can anyone advise what to do about this?
It will probably be possible to get a US card, it's more about whether there is any possibility to get to it easily and quickly. I don't even need it physically, just make the payment.
In my opinion, there is no longer a difference whether to have itunes match in cr or in us, I have a US credit card linked to a us account, but I bought match in the guild because I have most of the application in Czech and I don't mind having to switch accounts on the phone, but if you just wanted to learn from us in the simplest way possible
to go to the US appstore there is such a flag at the bottom of itunes
You say you want to buy a free app and then you say you will pay for it with a gift. card. but it's free so it just lets you register and have a US account. mno and then you just have to get a gift somewherecard for 25 USD and you can buy it and you don't need a credit card xD
martin: learning how to set one up isn't the problem, I've had it myself since 2008 and I shop there for gifts cards. But when ordering iTunes Match, you have to fill in a valid US credit card, otherwise it won't let you pay. And that's the problem. I have most of my music, movies and music purchased on the US store, so I don't want to switch to Czech because of iTunes Match...
So here is one of the possible solutions, but quite expensive: http://jerrycards.com/iTunesMatch.php
One option is US prepaid card, Jerry also started to offer the service, but then it is quite expensive: http://jerrycards.com/iTunesMatch.php
i.e. it doesn't matter, Macth will always upload all your music, i.e. even the music you bought in the US
Does anyone know why transferring to Match deleted about 3% of my artwork? MacBooku? When you have 500 CDs, it gets a bit slow.. Plus – they can't be reloaded from iTunes, they have to be entered manually.. And in iPhone It also doesn't show me the artwork for all CDs.. A bit disappointing, this service..
