You have probably ever needed to quickly find out exactly when your next train is. I have been using the idos.cz web service for a while now, but when I am away from home and have to search for valuable information using a web browser on my iPhone, which was no fun. Typing in the required input was challenging and required a certain amount of patience. Plus, when you're in a hurry, you're usually not patient. KoneSo I finally got an application that is directly intended for iOS device. As we have already mentioned iOS applications, there is a bar at the bottom with five icons: Connections, Stations, Routes, Bookmarks and Preferences. You will probably use Connections most often. In the upper right corner, click on the magnifying glass and enter where you need to travel from and to.
The application will find you the nearest possible connection and several subsequent ones. If you choose one specific connection, you will see a map with the route and you can even send the connection to a friend via SMS or email.
Stations are another option. You select one specific station. You will see all the departures, you choose yours and the app will show you all the stations waiting for you on the way. It can be quite useful if you don't know exactly how many stops you have to get off and you are sitting, for example, in the back of the train set, where you can't see the station sign. In the Connections section, you will find all the information about your connection.
I really like that the app shows the price of individual tickets and you can set an automatic notification if your connection is delayed. You can also set the font size in your application, the type of map or diacritics in your SMS.
Overall, I like the app and rate it positively. IDOS will reliably give you all the information about your trip, whether you are going on a trip with your family or going home after a hard day at work.
All are supported iOS devices with system version 4.0 and later. You must be connected to the Internet during use. Bon Voyage! There is also their own version for Slovak readers.
The application is great, I've been using it since the first days it was released, the author is always working on it and responds immediately in case of any ideas or ambiguities. Thank you.
this one is full of bugs... the best is free or normally via safari … the only thing that is perhaps better about this one is the design, although it is not that different from the others in that respect …
And it couldn't be simpler to use http://www.cp.sk (timetable) directly from iPhone, who Do they have a mobile phone?
As I wrote, I am satisfied with the application and I have not experienced any problems. On the contrary, access via Safari It literally got on my nerves. I have no experience with any other similar application.
I don't trust the IDOS app anymore and I don't recommend anyone to pay for tickets there if they are transferring from one bus to another. IDOS gave me false information and still gives incorrect information in the application about their route from Zvíkovské Podhradí to Písek. But the buses don't go there on the weekend! This was confirmed by the residents there. Because of this, we could not get to the town of Písek in time and change to the bus to Prague. It is impossible to cancel tickets without internet from the application. Ake company IDOS refused to return the money.
Now I arrived 3 minutes early for the bus and he fucking arrived 4 minutes earlier than he was supposed to.👍👍 I'm going to be late because the next one leaves in half an hour.
Some drivers are unpleasant to passengers, especially from the direction Prague-Mlada Boleslav. For example, the driver told me that I can't call on the bus and everyone else calls. Why? What is this limitation?
The app is really great but today I was riding the 105 bus after school to the bavory crossroads the driver noticed that I had pressed the stop light and saw it clearly and was still looking at me but still didn't stop me and braked then I thought he would stop me at least at the crossroads in Dunajovice but nothing and his stop light was still on so instead of the bavory crossroads I ended up in Dunajovice the driver minus now I have no way to get home! Old man!!!!
