Feral Interactive just in its own right official press release has just announced that its flagship game Mafia 2: Director's Cut will be released on December 1, 2011 for the Mac OS X platform. The game will be available for owners of the operating systems Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The hardware requirements are not extreme for ordinary computers, but the question is how many users have old Macintosh computers maxat least a year to reach 512MB of graphics memory. As newer games start to come to the Mac OS X platform, it will certainly become clear that the computer hardware is not sufficient and Apple may need to equip their machines with more powerful hardware. The game can be pre-ordered now for €35 here. It is strange that Czech is not listed among the languages of the game when pre-ordering.
so I wouldn't enjoy playing without the option of free ride modification :D
Great, although they could throw in a cheaper version App Store… :/
I'm playing through Boot Camp on Windows 7(MacBook Pro i7) and it runs without a problem.
From what I can see, you're probably on this year's Macbook Air I don't even play much occasionally :-(
I'm just clarifying that 15″ MacBook Pro from spring 2011, the weaker model had 512MB of graphics memory, the more powerful model had 1GB.
So the C2D deby from 2010 is in a mess...
I just think that the business model through appstore It would be better with boxes too.. you get used to it after all..
Not even on this one? Graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
My MacBook Pro The 15″ 2008 Late also has 512Mb of graphics memory.
what is the directors cut? it's not the same as what it's sold for windows? or could it be the uncut version? :D I know you here
Director's cut is the opposite of cut :) It's the version with all the bonus stories, that is, the game is much longer :)
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB will run perfectly smoothly.
I'm looking forward to it, I have an iMac with AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1GB, so it will run on Full :) I hope the graphics will be the same as on Wine.
Of course it will work like in Wine, it's always a PC just with a different operating system. Just keep in mind that the graphics in the iMac is not a full-fledged version like the 6970 "M" as a mobile, so it is a significantly trimmed version.
It must be freezing in hell! Glory! I'm happy, koneI can actually play Mafia on my iMac without having to go through BootCamp.
